FEDERICO MOREIRA

Federico is the director of the prestigious Uruguay-based audio production company La Mayor, recognized on a national and international level, with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. La Mayor provides a comprehensive post-production sound service with the highest quality standards for any audiovisual product.

Since 2016, he has led LaMayorCine, the first Dolby 5.1-certified film post-production sound studio in Uruguay.

With the goal to have more control over what they do at the company, Federico was encouraged to expand his business over to the production side managing to place their films at the top places of world cinema. An example would be the newly-released “Utama”, directed by Alejandro Loayza Grisi, which won awards at the most prestigious festivals in the world like Sundance 2022 and Malaga 2022, among many others.

He is also known as a musician and record producer collaborating in different albums and recordings by artists such as Agarrate Catalina and Tabaré Cardozo, among many others.
